FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7, a critical vulnerability exists in the FreePBX backup Module that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server. Authentication with a known username that has sufficient access permissions and/or write access to backup files is required. This vulnerability is caused by improper path sanitization in the backup restore functionality, enabling attackers to upload malicious PHP files to the web root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7.

Authenticated access to the api module is required. The PBX API module's documentation generator accepts an authenticated host parameter and uses it to build a shell command. The code path validates the generated OAuth access token before execution, but it does not validate or escape host. Compromise results in authenticated arbitrary shell command execution as the FreePBX web/PBX service user (typically asterisk.). This issue has been patched in version 17.0.9.

Prior to versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7, a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the superfecta module due to unsafe inclusion of arbitrary PHP files, allowing authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server with the privileges of the web server user. Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability is rooted in the options and save_options cases in the Superfecta module's AJAX handler. The code dynamically includes PHP files from the sources/ directory based on user-supplied input. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code when combined with arbitrary directory creation (e.g., via the backup module) and file uploads that reveal full paths (e.g., via the soundlang module). This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7.

Unintended Proxy or Intermediary ('Confused Deputy') (CWE-441) in Kibana Agent Builder can lead to privilege escalation. A non-administrative user able to edit a shared agent could cause privileged operations to be carried out under the identity of a higher-privileged user who subsequently interacts with that agent. Where the same user can also author workflows, this can extend to full administrative control of Kibana and of the Elasticsearch cluster.

Incorrect Authorization in the OAuth 1.0a authorization endpoint of Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker who learns an outstanding request token for a configured site-wide consumer to bind that token to an arbitrary user account, including an administrator, by submitting an unsigned authorization request. The endpoint derives the authorizing identity from a request-supplied value rather than the authenticated session. Only installations that configure an OAuth 1.0a site-wide consumer are affected, and exploitation requires knowledge of one of its outstanding request tokens. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which binds authorization to the logged-in session.

Missing Authorization in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an authenticated user to read, modify, or delete weblog content belonging to other weblogs through the legacy XML-RPC Blogger and MetaWeblog APIs, because the handlers authenticate the caller but do not verify the caller's permission on the weblog or entry actually affected. Only installations that enable the non-default global XML-RPC setting are affected; the per-weblog API flag defaults to enabled for UI-created weblogs. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which applies an explicit per-method permission check, or to keep the XML-RPC feature disabled.

Deserialization of Untrusted Data in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause deserialization of attacker-controlled bytes, because the XML-RPC endpoint accepts vendor extension types that are deserialized during request parsing, before authentication. The servlet is mapped unconditionally, so parsing occurs even when the global XML-RPC feature is set to disabled; no non-default configuration is required for this path. This can lead to remote code execution. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which disables the extension types and rejects requests when the XML-RPC feature is disabled.

Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an attacker who captures a valid WSSE digest authentication header to replay it and gain the victim's AtomPub authority, because the authentication does not enforce nonce uniqueness or timestamp freshness. Only installations that enable the non-default AtomPub API with WSSE authentication and plaintext-compatible password storage are affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which removes WSSE as an AtomPub authentication method; existing installations configured for WSSE fail closed until an administrator explicitly selects a supported authentication method.

Apache Karaf's instance-management service (InstanceServiceImpl) builds the command line used to launch a child Karaf JVM by string concatenation, then executes it through /bin/sh (Unix) or cscript (Windows). The caller-supplied javaOpts value is spliced into that string unquoted. A javaOpts value containing shell metacharacters (;, |, `, $(...)) is interpreted by the shell instead of being passed to the JVM as an option, giving arbitrary OS command execution as the Karaf process user. Reachable via the shell commands instance:create, instance:start, instance:restart, instance:change-opts, and the equivalent InstanceMBean JMX operations (createInstance, startInstance, changeJavaOpts, cloneInstance). Mitigation  * Set karaf.secured.command.compulsory.roles=admin in etc/system.properties to close the fail-open gap for all unconfigured command scopes. * Restrict which principals can reach instance:* commands and InstancesMBean via etc/users.properties role assignments. * Treat javaOpts passed to instance:create/instance:start/instance:change-opts/InstancesMBean as untrusted input only from fully-trusted operators.

Improper link resolution in the migration receive path in Canonical LXD versions 4.0 and later (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8 and 6.10) on Linux allows an authenticated client that can create instances or custom storage volumes in a project, or a malicious migration source server, to write attacker-controlled files to arbitrary paths on the target host as root, leading to full host compromise. The attacker does this with a crafted rsync or btrfs send stream that plants a symlink in the transferred volume, such as rootfs or root.img, and then writes through it.

shell-quote's `quote()` function emits a `{ comment }` token as `#` followed by its text, which comments out the rest of the shell line, including the opening quote of any later string token. A line terminator (\n, \r, U+2028, U+2029) in that later string therefore ends the comment, and the rest of the string is parsed as shell input: `quote(['echo', 'ok', { comment: 'x' }, 'a\nid;#'])` runs `id` in sh, bash, dash, ksh and zsh. `parse()` emits a comment token for a `#` in the middle of a word (for example `http://example.com/#frag`), so callers that combine `parse()` output with another untrusted string, such as `quote(parse(untrustedCommand).concat(untrustedArg))`, are affected. The fix for CVE-2026-9277 rejected line terminators in the comment's own text, but not in the tokens after it. Fixed in 1.11.0: `quote()` throws a `TypeError` when a string after a `{ comment }` token contains a line terminator.

Flatpak's process ID namespace separation does not prevent a sandboxed app's kill(0, signal) or killpg(0, signal) calls from reaching processes outside the sandbox that share the same process group. A malicious or compromised Flatpak app can use this to cause denial of service by terminating processes outside its sandbox, such as the desktop shell.

pbkdf2 through 3.1.6 re-hashes passwords longer than the digest's block size on every iteration in its JavaScript fallback (lib/sync.js). A password longer than the block size (64 bytes, or 128 bytes for sha384 and sha512) is passed to HMAC as the key on every iteration, and HMAC hashes such keys in full each time. Cost is therefore O(iterations × password length), and a long password can block the event loop. The fallback is used by pbkdf2Sync and pbkdf2 on Node.js before 0.12, on Bun (1.0.0 through 1.1.34, and 1.2.6 and later), and on Deno 2.9.0 and later, because their native pbkdf2Sync fails the library's feature check. It is also used when lib/sync.js is imported directly. Node.js 0.12 and later, and browser builds (which use lib/sync-browser.js), are not affected. Applications that enforce a reasonable maximum password length are not meaningfully affected.

authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2, an unauthenticated attacker can submit a malformed SAML message to an authentik deployment using SAML in either the identity-provider or SAML source role. The message can stop the worker handling /application/saml/* or /source/saml/*, causing the requests assigned to that worker to fail. Worker process termination and automatic restart do not destroy database-backed sessions, but continued malicious messages can cause a sustained share of legitimate traffic to fail. Other protocol implementations are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.7, 2026.5.7, and 2026.8.2.

Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to 2026.1.8, 2026.6.3, 2026.7.2, and 2026.8.0, the Discourse post sanitizer allowed a stored cross-origin iframe to bypass the allowed_iframes prefix policy when the iframe src contained encoded userinfo. The sanitizer validated a decoded form differently from the stored iframe src, allowing the browser to interpret an attacker-controlled host while the allowlist check accepted the encoded URL as an allowed prefix. An authenticated user with posting privileges could persist the iframe in a post and cause attacker-controlled cross-origin content to be rendered. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.1.8, 2026.6.3, 2026.7.2, and 2026.8.0.

Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to 2026.1.8, 2026.6.3, 2026.7.2, and 2026.8.0, sites using wildcard patterns in the allowed_iframes setting could accept a crafted iframe URL whose allowlisted suffix appeared after a URL authority separator. The wildcard origin check matched the allowed domain text, while browser URL parsing selected a different attacker-controlled origin. A user with posting privileges could exploit the flaw through a post or a Onebox oEmbed response and cause an attacker-controlled iframe to be rendered independently of the allowlisted domain. Successful exploitation requires a site-configured wildcard iframe pattern and the ability to create a post or trigger an oEmbed request for an attacker-controlled URL. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.1.8, 2026.6.3, 2026.7.2, and 2026.8.0.

LibRaw 0.22.0 contains an incorrect numeric conversion vulnerability in LibRaw::parse_tiff_ifd() when processing TIFF tag 0x00fe (NewSubfileType). A specially crafted RAW, TIFF, or DNG file can supply an attacker-controlled NewSubfileType value outside the range of a signed int. The parser converts this value and narrows it to int without performing range validation. This out-of-range conversion triggers undefined behavior, resulting in process termination and denial of service.

Bento4 1.6.0.0 contains an integer underflow vulnerability in the avcC and hvcC configuration atom parsers. A specially crafted MP4 file containing an atom with a declared size smaller than AP4_ATOM_HEADER_SIZE can cause AP4_AvccAtom::Create() or AP4_HvccAtom::Create() to underflow the payload-size calculation. The resulting oversized buffer operation can cause invalid or NULL pointers to be passed to the AP4_DataBuffer copy path, resulting in application termination and denial of service.

minimp3 commit ea99364f contains an integer overflow vulnerability in mp3dec_skip_id3v1() when parsing the APEv2 tag-size field.

simdjson 4.6.1 contains a one-byte out-of-bounds read vulnerability in dom::parser::parse_unpadded(). A specially crafted truncated JSON document whose final structural token closes a nested array or object can cause json_iterator::walk_document() to access buf[len] after the input buffer has been exhausted. This results in a heap out-of-bounds read and may cause application termination, leading to denial of service.

Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.20, the default-open GET /subscribe endpoint in network/api/websocket/routes.go accepts unauthenticated WebSocket clients with permissive origin handling, does not call SetReadLimit to bound message size, and has no live-connection cap. SocketHub.HandleClientInsertion also accepts an unbounded address list that grows addressSubscription, and client.loopIn continues reading without a size limit, allowing one client to grow subscription maps or many clients to retain goroutines, buffered channels, and descriptors. The global HTTP request throttler does not count upgraded live WebSocket connections. Because the REST and WebSocket API runs in the node process, memory or scheduler exhaustion can crash the node and interrupt P2P and consensus participation. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.20.

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.4.1 until 2.5.1, an authenticated Termix administrator can store attacker-controlled domain and email values through PATCH /users/acme-ssl-settings and trigger their interpolation into a certbot shell command through POST /users/acme-ssl-request. In src/backend/database/routes/acme-ssl-routes.ts, child_process.execSync invokes /bin/sh -c with those values only wrapped in double quotes, so shell metacharacters can execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the Termix backend process. Both HTTP webroot and DNS Cloudflare challenge modes are affected, and compromise exposes Termix databases, process secrets, stored credentials, and network reachability. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.7.0 until 2.5.1, the POST /credentials/:id/deploy-to-host endpoint resolves credential and target-host records from attacker-controlled credentialId and targetHostId integer values without checking that either record belongs to the requesting user. In src/backend/database/routes/credentials.ts, differential errors reveal whether credential and host records exist and disclose each record's authType value. Properly encrypted passwords and keys are not disclosed, but a key-authenticated victim host can receive an outbound SSH connection attempt using the attacker's public key. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.
