Se encontró una vulnerabilidad en OpenSC, herramientas OpenSC, módulo PKCS#11, minidriver y CTK. Un atacante podría usar un dispositivo USB o una tarjeta inteligente manipulada específicamente para presentar al sistema una respuesta especialmente manipulada a las APDU.
